When I was nine years old, I started to learn how to play the guitar. My father would have me practice for 15 minutes. Then 15 minutes became 30. Then 30 minutes became 45 minutes and eventually, I would practice one hour a day. Every day when I came home, I would strum my guitar. I learned how to read and play notes. I would practice my technique to ensure that I was strumming my strings up and down. Refining my technique In my mind it was boring, but as days became weeks an
