Are You Feeling Stuck?

Sometimes in life we feel stuck. We are dealing with situations in our life that are causing us to feel confused. We are not sure how to handle a marriage problem. We are not sure how to take care of our finances. Maybe you are dealing with a child who is giving you problems? Or a co-worker or boss that has not been kind to you?

If this is how you are feeling lately, what should you do. God's Word tells us what to do.

"If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind. That person should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Such a person is double-minded and unstable in all they do. (‭James‬ ‭1‬:‭5-8‬ NIV). First, we need to go to God and ask Him what to do. Often we go to our family or friends or go to the Internet to find the answers. This Word tells us to go to God. Set aside time in your day to seek God. Write your questions to Him or say it in your prayer. "Lord I need help, Lord I need guidance, God tell me what to do"

Second, the Bible says when we go to God he will give you wisdom. This is so important. God is ready and willing to help. He wants to impart his counsel to you. It also says that he will not have fault with you. So even if you have made a mistake and you go to God, He is ready to help you. Isn't that amazing news?

Finally, we need to believe God and remove doubt when we are approaching God. If we do not believe then we should not expect God to do anything for us. Believing is key. If we believe and then doubt, believe and then doubt, we are unstable.

Think of faith like money in the world. Without money in the world you can't buy anything. The same with our faith. God wants to see our faith so that He can move your situation. Make a choice today to believe God and stick to having faith.
